The WP820 is a cordless handset for staff who need to be mobile within a WiFi-covered site, such as a warehouse floor, hospital ward, or retail floor, rather than sitting at a desk. It rides on existing WiFi infrastructure as a phone extension you carry, with a rechargeable battery rated for roughly 7.5 hours of talk time. It only makes sense where solid WiFi coverage already exists at the site.
