Why We Don’t Publish a Fixed Price List
Every project we have delivered since 2017, from a single-office Wi-Fi upgrade to a multi-building hospital network, has been priced on the same real, variable inputs: how big the site is, what’s already there, and how much work the job involves. A single “starts from” number can’t capture that honestly. It either undersells a small job to look competitive, or gets treated as a promise on a project that was never going to fit it.
That’s not us dodging the question. It’s the same reason none of it appears as a flat rate on any of our service pages either, we quote after we have seen the site or the floor plan, because a number given without that is a guess, and we don’t think a guess is useful to you.
What Determines Your Price
Regardless of which service you need, the same handful of factors decide where a project lands on the cost range:
Site size and scope: A single-room office and a multi-building campus are different jobs before a single cable is pulled or a single access point is mounted. Bigger, more spread-out sites cost more, that part is obvious, but scope also includes things like how many rooms, floors, or buildings are involved.
What’s already there: A project starting from a blank office costs differently than one working around existing cabling, switches, or cameras that need to be assessed, reused where possible, or replaced. Existing infrastructure can lower a cost (less to build from scratch) or raise it (more to untangle and correct first).
Install complexity: Running cable through open ceiling space is faster than routing it through finished walls or tight conduit. A straightforward install costs less than one that has to work around a building’s physical constraints.
Timing and disruption: Work scheduled after-hours or in phases, to avoid shutting down a live office, hospital ward, or hotel floor, generally takes longer and costs more than a project with a clean, unoccupied site to work in.
One-time install vs. ongoing management: A project can end at handover, or continue as a support contract with monitoring, firmware updates, and a guaranteed response time. That ongoing piece is priced separately from the install itself, and it’s optional on every service we offer.
None of these factors are secret or unusual, they are the same things that would affect the cost of this kind of work anywhere. We just say so plainly instead of leaving you to guess.
Rough Cost Drivers by Service
Every service page below has its own detailed pricing-factors section, this is a short pointer, not the full picture.
Network Security: Scales with how many users and devices you are protecting and how many locations are involved.
Structured Cabling: Scales with the number of cable drops, the cable category (CAT6, CAT6A, or fiber), and how complicated the building’s pathways are.
Wireless Network Solutions: Scales with the size of the space, how many access points it takes to cover it, and whether an outdoor point-to-point link is part of the job.
Network Management: Scales with how many switches and devices are under management, how many sites, and how fast a guaranteed response time needs to be.
IP PABX & Voice: Scales with the number of extensions and lines, and how much call-routing configuration your office actually needs.
CCTV & IP Surveillance: Scales with camera count, resolution, and how many days of footage you want kept.
Value Added Network (VAN) Solutions: Is not priced as its own line item the same way. It’s the connection, firewall, and redundancy work that already falls under Network Security or Network Management, sized to what a specific trading-partner requirement calls for.
How the Quote Process Works
You don’t need to know your own site’s exact specs before contacting us, that’s what the assessment is for.
- Tell us what you are dealing with: Call, WhatsApp, or use the quote form. A rough description is enough to start, “our office Wi-Fi keeps dropping” or “we need cameras on a warehouse” is plenty.
- We look at the site: In person for most Lahore projects, or remotely from photos, a floor plan, or a call, depending on what makes sense for the job.
- We quote a firm number: No range, no “somewhere between X and Y”, a specific figure based on what we actually saw, usually the same business day.
- You decide, no pressure: If the number does not work for your budget right now, we will say which parts of the project matter most so you can start smaller instead of walking away entirely.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is not there a fixed price list on this site?
Because none of our real projects have been priced off a flat rate, every one has depended on site size, existing infrastructure, and scope, and a fixed list would either be misleadingly cheap for a small job or wrong for a large one. We will rather explain the real factors and quote accurately than publish a number that does not hold up once we see the site.
Is the site assessment free?
Yes. Whether it’s an in-person visit or a remote review of your floor plan or photos, there’s no charge to find out what a project would cost.
How long after the assessment do I get a real number?
Usually the same business day. Larger, multi-building projects with more to review can take a little longer, but we don’t sit on it.
Once I get a quote, can the price still change?
Not without a reason we will tell you about upfront, like a scope change you asked for after the quote. The number we give after seeing your site is the number, not a placeholder that grows once work starts.
My budget is limited, can I still start with 802?
Yes. If the full project is more than your budget allows right now, we will tell you honestly which parts matter most and which can wait, a smaller first phase (say, cabling and Wi-Fi for the space you use daily) instead of walking away or overspending on everything at once.
Does a bigger site always cost proportionally more?
Generally yes, more cable drops, more access points, or more cameras means more material and labor, but it’s not always a straight multiplication. Shared infrastructure, like one comms room serving a whole floor, can make a larger project more cost-efficient per point than a small one built from scratch.
Do you charge extra for after-hours or weekend work to avoid disrupting my business?
It can affect the price, since after-hours or phased work usually takes longer than a straight daytime install on an empty site. We factor that into the quote itself, based on what you need, rather than adding a surprise line item afterward.
