The FortiGate 40F (and FortiWiFi 40F) is Fortinet’s entry-level next-generation firewall, built for teleworkers, SOHO setups, and small remote branch offices.
Firewall throughput: 5 Gbps. NGFW throughput: 800 Mbps. Threat protection throughput: 600 Mbps (IPS 1 Gbps). IPsec VPN throughput: 4.4 Gbps. Ports: 1x GE RJ45 WAN/DMZ, 3x GE RJ45 internal, 1x GE RJ45 FortiLink, 1x USB, 1x console.
Includes built-in SD-WAN and a FortiLink switch controller port at no extra cost, part of Fortinet’s Security Fabric.
